Presentation (Time Expressions) Introduce 'Quarter Past', 'Half Past', 'Quarter To': Use the clock diagram to demonstrate the meaning of each phrase. Chorally drill the phrases with different times. 5-7 mins
Practice (Controlled) TPR Activity - "Time Jogging": Teacher says a time rhyme. Students jog in place and then use their arms to show the time (like a clock). Later, add a.m./p.m. guessing. 8-10 mins
Production (Freer Practice) Idiom & Personalization: Teach the idiom "Time flies" and "There's no time like the present." Students think of a real-life example and share it with a partner using the idiom. 5-7 mins
Review & Assessment Exit Ticket: Students write one sentence on a piece of paper about a favorite activity and what time they do it, using a.m./p.m. or the new time expressions. 5 mins
